Perfect By Jonathan Cole

Perfect is now available on Amazon for Kindle! Link: http://www.amazon.com/Perfect-ebook/dp/B006HYQU2K/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1323210093&sr=1-1

Perfect answers the question: "What would it be like to die and then come back to life?"

Justin Chronos wakes up to a strange face staring over him. He learns that this mysterious and beautiful stranger is Dr. Cristina Divian, a cryogenics doctor who has “revived” him from his dormant state. Dr. Divian explains that she has received orders “from high up”, making her personally responsible for Justin while he acclimates to his new life. Since he is a stranger in this future time, her family acts as his host family. Justin befriends Dr. Divian’s son and daughter (a slightly dysfunctional set of offspring), who introduce him to a world that is a drastic contrast to the place he left behind. There is new technology, a vastly different social structure, a generation of people who have absolutely no imperfections, and active use of drugs; all of which Justin is reluctant to adapt to.

As he adjusts to his new life, Justin discovers the existence of a secret organization known as The Founders, responsible for designing this seemingly ideal world. He soon meets Queen Hera, a sensuous and powerful woman who is the leader over this future nation. She enlightens Justin by informing him of his family’s involvement in creating The Movement: an initiative started by The Founders that fundamentally revolutionized society. Even more startling, Justin learns that it is his fate to lead humankind, following the Queen’s death. He does not understand why, nor does he wish for such a position. Before he can accept the arrangement, he is convinced that he must answer the haunting questions that torment his mind. When he begins to delve more into the tainted history of The Movement, everything unravels.

  1. Hello Jonathon,
In my addiction to cheap Kindle reads, I came across your "Perfect", and just loved it. If you are as young as your pic mirrors, then I think you have a very promising career ahead of you. I was teased for reading a book about a Utopia, and I have to tell you; I enjoyed every word of it! :) You're detail in each area of potential "Perfect" left me wanting to know more. Don't get me wrong, I saw some room for edit, but your storytelling is special. King is my fav, & you have intricacies in your story that made me feel like King does; he is able to make his stories intimate. Anyhow, I realize this is out of the blue, but wanted to give you a shout out when I saw that you are a first time novelist.
When is the next part coming?
    Respectfully,
    KT
